Mynydd Climbing Club Membership Renewal Form 2026 
Please fill in this simple form in order to renew your membership. This is to ensure we have correct and minimum personal details and your consent to store and use them, as required under the GDPR laws.

If you are not a current member this form is NOT for you - please use the New Member Application Form on our Membership Page, here.

If you are an Aspirant please DO renew using this form as you become a Full member after the first year.

GDPR laws require that EACH current member (including Aspirants, BOTH Joint members and Honorary members) MUST complete this form in order to renew. 

We have had to increase rates slightly for 2025/26, in line with the increase to the BMC membership fee, to £46.50 for individual full members and £83 for 2 joint members at the same address. However, there is a discount for anyone who is unemployed or a full time student. See payment section below for details.

** Direct Debit Payment ** 
Although BACS is of course still fine, we now offer a Direct Debit payment option, which is easiest for you and which we would prefer. If you have signed up already, there's no need to do it again. Details are in the payment section.

  1. I am over 18

  2. I agree to the following BMC Participation Statement and accept the risks: Hill walking and mountaineering can provide life-long physical, social and mental health benefits through exercise and adventure in amazing environments. The BMC recognises that these activities involve a risk of personal injury or death. Participants should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions and impacts on others

  3. The Mynydd Climbing Club operates on a peer-to-peer basis and does not provide instruction or formal leadership. I agree that as a participant, I am responsible for ensuring that I have the appropriate skills, experience, fitness, and equipment for the activities I choose to undertake. I will be responsible for my own safety.

  4. When participating in club activities and using the club hut I will act in a responsible manner, conscious of both my own safety and the impact of my actions on the safety of others, keeping in mind my individual duty of care to all in my company.

  5. New members who want to climb routes require a minimum level of capability. You must be able to put on a harness, tie into the rope, and belay safely. Many climbing walls offer introductory courses if you need to learn how to do this.

  6. I agree to be bound by the constitution and rules of the Mynydd Climbing Club. This includes dealing with all other members in a respectful and courteous manner at all times.

  7. I understand that my membership fee includes club membership of the BMC.

Agreeing to these statements is a requirement of club membership.
