This year, we will have four rounds of workshops. One will be dedicated to organizing skills, with an emphasis on story sharing (narrative), recruitment (one-on-ones), and strategy. The second will be focused on artivism - the intersection of arts and organizing and culture change. Our third round of workshops include building resiliency with ritual and healing. The final workshop grouping will be dedicated to political education, policy, and internationalism.
All workshops will be allotted 60 minutes. We particularly encourage chapter leaders and emerging Million Hoodies leaders to submit workshop proposals, since based on your experience you are the ones that know the best practices. We therefore encourage you to think about what has worked for you and your chapter and craft creative and innovative workshops about what you have learned along the way.
Submissions will be open from Monday, May 8 and close at midnight on Friday, June 9. Finalists will be announced on June 19th. If you have any questions before or during submission please email firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.
