The AMT Program, offered at no cost to eligible candidates, is taught in conjunction with our partner the Technology & Manufacturing Association (TMA), resulting in 3 NIMS (National Institute of Metalworking Skills) Certifications. Each participant that successfully completes the program will receive one-on–one job placement support through our network of manufacturing industry employer partners.
AMT combines theory and hands-on training in set-up, operation, and programming of a CNC mill and CNC lathe as well as customized preparation needed to be competitive for careers in advanced manufacturing. The AMT program includes Career Elevation Training & Support, Access to 24-hour Virtual Learning HUB and Alumni Network
Classes meet three times a week for 4 hours per session. Classes are held on the campus of Bethel New Life (4950 W. Thomas Street) one day a week and twice a week in Schaumburg at the Technology & Manufacturing Association. Transportation is provided for all training sessions held in Schaumburg.
All interested candidates must complete this application to be considered for enrollment in any AMT classes.
