All applications must be approved by the head of the Performing Arts Department before they will be considered by FoPA.
Grant applications will not be approved - or even considered - if submitted after the cost was incurred or the event took place.
Note: Please be aware that FoPA cannot fund permanent, ongoing programs nor significant infrastructure that rightfully belongs in the District budget. FoPA will give priority to projects that have maximum impact on student learning, creativity, and excellence.
2. When submitted, this form will be sent to FoPA as well as Kenny Kozol and Mayra Hernandez. Kenny Kozol must indicate his approval before FoPA will consider the application.
3. FoPA holds its meeting the second Wednesday of every month from October - May. Grant applications received by the Friday before any meeting - with the Performing Arts Department head's approval - will be considered at the next meeting. You will be notified of FoPA's decision regarding your application within a day or two of the meeting.
2. When complete, click Submit and your application will automatically be sent to FoPA, the head of the Performing Arts Department, and the Teacher Leader.
3. In the happy event that FoPA funds your grant, please follow up with photos/video of your project, one or two quotes from students about their experience, and a paragraph or two that we can post on the FoPA website to share with the larger community. this will promote your vision and commitment to the excellence of the Performing Arts Program at Brookline High School and help FoPA attract more donations.
