Facebook is no longer an optional venue for marketing for any business owner, it is a necessity. Because of the recent changes in the algorithm earlier this year, businesses need to pay extra attention to what it means for their brands. Valentina will be discussing the latest with the algorithm. Valentina Escobar-Gonzalez, MBA, founded Beyond Engagement, a social media solutions company, in January 2012 to assist small businesses and professionals grow their engagement with customers online—and she hasn’t slowed down since. She is a Board Member of Second Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Tennessee. Mother of two kids under the age of 5 and a Gators Fanatic.

She has presented to the American Advertising Federation of Coastal Carolinas in Myrtle Beach, Greenville, South Carolina, and in Southwest Virginia about the latest Social Media Strategies on Facebook and on Instagram. Valentina has participated in numerous speaking engagements to education institutions, including Milligan College, East Tennessee State University, Emory & Henry College, and Northeast State Community College. She has been featured in a virtual conference for Marketing Profs and in their MarketingSmarts podcast.
