We Deserve Better can help direct donations and activists to strong socialist candidates standing in the local elections in England this May. Candidates can be from a political party or standing as an independent.

To be considered, you must be able to show that the candidate:

• has a proven track record in organising locally (e.g. political, voluntary or community work)

• is well placed to campaign to contest the election (e.g. local activist base, networks, literature)
