Microblading consent form
Microblading consent form - before & after care instructions
It is important that you understand and are at ease with the healing process after your microblading session(s) leading towards the end-result. This understanding will ensure you are informed of pre/post-treatment care, limitations, variations and expectations.
By checking this box, you agree that you have noted and fully understood the statements and risks below.
Where, in this consent form, variation is mentioned in expectation of treatment end-result and healing process, it is important to note that each client differs and their personal context will influence where they fall in such variation. Further, you should be aware of how the treatment and its healing process affects your personal schedule’s plans. *
The healing process will take a number of days to complete, the number depending on how quickly the outer layer of your skin exfoliates and new skin regrows to take its place. *
Required
During the healing process, be prepared for the colour intensity of your treatment appearing sharper, brighter and/or darker than what is to be expected of the final outcome. This is normal and the colour will fade anywhere between 10% and 50%. *
Required
Some swelling, whiteness around the treatment area, and redness may occur during healing time. This is normal and may last a few hours to a few days. *
Required
The area may appear uneven, dry, itchy, tender, red & irritated. These symptoms will disappear as the healing process ensues. *
Required
Please do not pick at the scabs. Picking can lift colour and pigment from the treated area resulting in unevenness and blank spots. Your brows may not exfoliate evenly, still let them flake off naturally. *
Required
During the exfoliation process your colour may look weak, orangey, pinkish, or grey. This will not be your final result. It takes a full 6 weeks or more for your true colour to surface. Please be patient and wait until you are fully healed before you critique your eyebrows. Any refinements can be addressed at a follow up visit. *
Microblading is an enhancement to your natural brows, not permanent make-up. You may still need to pencil/powder your eyebrows after the end-result, depending on how your unique skin and lifestyle influences the treatment. *
Required
A colour boost is needed around every two years, depending on how quick eventual fading occurs. *
Required
The end-result of your treatment will fade prematurely If you are out in the sun a lot, have oily skin, use anti-aging creams and/or Retin-A /retinol products, use acidic cleansers, do regular chemical peels, and/or exercise frequently. The better you take care of the treated area and follow the provided aftercare instructions, the longer it will last. *
Required
Follow-up visits/treatments may be required for touch-ups and refinements. Although 2 sessions is usually required. 1-3 sessions are within the norm. *
Required
Each client’s face is different and, although symmetry is the goal, end-results will vary. *
