About Dr. Sunny Fridge
Dr. Sunny Fridge, known as 'Dr. Sunny,' is an award-winning speaker, educator, and presentation coach. She is the CEO of Speak and Shine® LLC and co-founder of Speak & Shine® Academy and Speak & Shine® Youth Club, where she developed communication and public speaking courses for all ages. A certified Roger Love Method™ voice coach, she is also a certified coach, speaker, and trainer with the John Maxwell Leadership Team. Dr. Sunny founded Chance Network Inc., a non-profit aimed at empowering youth and women through personal and professional development. Currently, she is an online Adjunct Assistant Professor of Communication at Oral Roberts University, having previously spent over 25 years as a university professor in Communications and Journalism. While in New York City, she worked at CBS and interviewed prominent figures like General Colin Powell, Regis Philbin, and Oprah Winfrey. Additional highlights of Dr. Sunny's career include:

Refund Policy
A full refund will not be issued except for conditions covered under Force Majeure.

If a parent decides that the course/club is not suitable for his/her child after attending the first or second session/meeting, the parent may request a partial refund with a written request to withdraw the student from the enrollment. The written request needs to be emailed to Dr. Sunny at dr.sunny@speakandshine.org at least three days before the next session/meeting. A prorated fee for unused coaching sessions and/or club meetings will be issued. No refund will be issued after the third session/meeting except for conditions covered under Force Majeure.

A refund cannot be issued for a missed session, online class, or club meeting, if it is caused by an issue at the student's end.

If a coaching session, online class, or club meeting cannot be provided at a planned time because of an issue at the academy end, the teacher/student coordinator will contact parents/students for a makeup session/meeting first. If a makeup session/meeting cannot be arranged, a refund for this missing session/meeting will be issued.

FORCE MAJEURE

Each course is subject to termination without liability upon the occurrence of any circumstance beyond the control of either party – such as acts of God, war, disaster, Internet failure, to the extent that such circumstance makes it impossible to provide the course or coaching. We will refund a pro-rated fee for all terminated sessions/meetings.
Privacy and Photography Consent
By attending a Speak & Shine® online meeting/session, you agree that teachers and class assistants may take photos and videos for educational purposes.

These photos/videos may be shared among students, assistants, parents, and guardians for educational purposes without additional consent. Such sharing may include uploading photo/video content to a private/unlisted online storage location.

Some photos/videos may be published on websites or social media for the purpose of promoting public speaking and youth leadership development. Unless a written request to NOT PUBLISH a student's photo/video is received, the parent/guardian consent is considered as YES by default.

If a privacy issue occurs on the part of the teachers and/or the assistants, a parent/guardian shall text/email the teachers or the assistants using the contact information listed. The appropriate correction will be taken as soon as possible.

The parent/guardian shall not take actions against the teachers and/or the assistants unless there is gross negligence on the part of the teachers and/or the assistants. Gross negligence is defined by Mississippi state law.
Parent/Guardian, please acknowledge that you have read our policies above including the privacy and photography consent. If you disagree with any of our policies, we may not register your child. Still we would love to understand your reasons and see if there is anything we can do to help. *
