Our 11th annual Maker Faire Bay Area is on the horizon and we want YOUR help sharing the news! Sign up and join the team. It’s easy. It’s fun. It’s a great way to get involved with the Faire. And to top it off, you can earn two adult Single Day Passes to Maker Faire worth $90.00. Win! Win!

Follow these simple steps:

1. Fill out this form and we will send you a Maker Faire Bay Area 2016 Street Team Kit. Please note that your last day to sign up is April 14, 2016. In the Street Team Kit you will find:

25 Flyers
75 Postcards
10 Business Cards (both our Bay Area and New York Dates are listed!)
10 Stickers

2. Take your goodies and post them in high traffic venues. Please be sure to ask for permission when appropriate, as we definitely want to respect other's property.

Hobby Shops Craft Stores
Restaurants Scrap Stores
Community Centers Hacker Spaces
Tech Shops After School Programs
Garden Centers Thrift Stores
Schools Churches
and more…..

3. Snap some photos in ALL of the places you decide to post. You need a minimum of 5 different pictures from 5 different locations. Note that once you've captured your photos, be sure to document those places that you've been. We want to know the details! Remember, the Street Team Kit contains a lot of materials, so the 5 pictures from 5 locations are the MINIMUM number to share. Please don't use the materials in JUST 5 locations—help spread the word!

4.Once you've documented your Street Team journey, share with your social community (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.). Make sure to tag us by adding the #MF2016. Visit http://makerfaire.com/bay-area-2016/promote/ to digitally help us spread the word! You can also download and print the pdf(s) of the official the Maker Faire Bay Area 2016 printed flyer for your office, schools, libraries, local coffee shops, etc.

5. After sharing with your social communities, please return to https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1XVtqUql3DpY2POjIeVsfc6qmiDKPI3FBc_kT_E80wwQ/viewform to submit your information and send your pictures to streetteam@makerfaire.com. Your pictures and stories must be submitted no later than: May 2, 2016. Please note that we have a LOT of amazing pictures and stories to review, so it may take up to 2 weeks to get your tickets! Thank you for your patience.

After you've completed these steps, and we've reviewed your hard work, we will send you a link for your two Maker Faire Tickets!
