2019-2020 Player Registration
Email address *
Instructions
Please submit a separate registration for each player. After you submit your registration, you will receive an email invoice for a player deposit fee of $200 per player. Payment is required to complete your registration (this fee will be credited to your player fees for the season).

All BBYHA players must be registered with USA Hockey for the 2019-20 season. This is a separate online registration at https://www.usahockeyregistration.com.

All 12U and younger travel players must also register for the Bloomington Parks and Recreation House Hockey program. Registration information for House Hockey will be posted on the Bloomington Parks and Recreation website and in their program guide. Your BBYHA travel hockey fees do not include fees for House Hockey.

If you are new to travel hockey, please be sure you understand that participation in the program requires commitments. The BBYHA participates in the Buckeye Travel Hockey League and will travel to neighboring states for games and tournaments. Practices will start in August in Columbus, IN prior to the opening of our home ice at the Frank Southern Ice Arena, and our season will run from October through the end of February or early March. In addition to Buckeye League games, we will participate in several non-league tournaments. International travel to Canada is possible. Travel expenses and lodging are not included in player fees. If you have further questions, please contact the team manager for your child's level (contact information is available at http://www.bloomingtonblades.com).

Player Photograph Release Agreement
From time to time, pictures of various players and teams will be taken and posted on the BBYHA website. Furthermore, we may use these photos for one or more of the following: promotional materials, sponsor recognition, public posting at Frank Southern Ice Arena and/or submission to print media for publication. By registering your child to play hockey in our programs you authorize the BBYHA to use any photos which include your child in the aforementioned ways.
Code of Conduct and USA Hockey Zero Tolerance Policy
All players and parents agree to abide by the USA Hockey "Zero Tolerance" policy and Code of Conduct for Players, Parents, and Spectators, and the Bloomington Blades Youth Hockey Association Player Code of Conduct and Guide for Parents. By registering your child to play hockey in our programs you agree to abide by these policies.

The Code of Conduct Agreement specifc to your child's age division, the USA Zero Tolerance Policy, USA Hockey Consent to treat/medical History form, and the BBHYA Guide for Parents will be presented by your team manager at a pre-season team meeting. Your registration is not complete until you and your child have reviewed and signed these documents indicating that you understand and agree to abide by these policies.

You may also review these on the "Parents" page on our website, http://www.bloomingtonblades.com/blades-program/parents

Financial Agreement
The BBYHA works hard to keep and is proud of having one of the lowest-cost travel hockey programs in the region. By registering a player in the program, each parent recognizes the obligation to pay for their player's uniform, apparel and program fees. Timely payment is essential to the operation of the program. Before the start of the season, your team manager will present a financial agreement to you to read and sign, which describes these obligations in more detail.
