August 22 - 1st Day Agenda 8AM-4PM
8:00am - 8:30am Registration/Meet and Greet
8:30am - 9:45am Introduction - Q & A
9:45am - 9:55am Break
9:55am - Let's get started.  
10:00am - 11:30am Learn to fold your fabric, cut your 1/8 quilt pattern, lay out your design, and pin and baste.
11:30am - 12:15pm Lunch Break
12:15pm - 2:30pm Complete your basting and needle turn applique
2:30pm Break
2:45pm - 4:00pm Needle turn applique and quilting trips.

August 23 - 2nd Day Agenda 8AM-4PM
8:00am - 8:30am Meet and Greet
8:30am - 10:00am Introduction to Hawaiian Style Quilting, Tips and Techniques
10:00am - 10:10am Break
10:15am -11:30am Making the larger quilt. 
11:30am - 12:15pm Lunch
12:15pm - 3:00pm Open time for applique, quilting and Q & A
3:00pm - 4:00pm Aloha and Smile Picture Time

Classes are limited.  Preference will be given to WSQG members. 


Supplies needed for workshop

2 pieces of fabric 22" x 22" - one for the design, one for the applique backing
1 piece of fabric for quilt backing 23" x 23"
matching thread for the design and backing fabric
assorted quilting and sharp needles
sharp scissors
pins
quilting thimble
14" quilting hoop - needed after the applique is complete
Quilt Batting
