Volunteer Form
We appreciate your interest in becoming a volunteer for the Homer Central School District, HCSD. Volunteering offers a great opportunity to become involved with our students and programs, supporting our teachers and children.
HCSD Volunteer Process:
Complete the Volunteer Form (either this Google Form or the paper form)
Once completed, the form will be reviewed and references will be contacted.
Once reviewed, the district clerk will place the volunteer's name on the next Board of Education meeting for approval.
After the volunteer is board-approved, their information will be entered into a Google Doc that is viewable by administrators and building secretaries.
The volunteer will be notified when their services are needed.
The first-time volunteering, the building secretary will run the volunteer's driver’s license through the Raptor system.
This process can take 2-4 weeks to complete as Board of Education appointment is required.
Please note: HCSD employees are not required to follow the volunteer process. - Please okay any volunteer services with the appropriate building administrator.
