Mentoring Support for New Principals and School Administrators

There is a movement to analyze the effectiveness of principals and other administrators. Principals should be perceived as educational leaders when in reality there is so much management that the principals cannot make time to become instructional leaders.

This research will provide an opportunity to connect administrators through the website of The Mentoring Leadership and Resource Professional Interest Community of ASCD to develop a stronger model of professional development through mentoring.
