Oxon Why Further Maths? Day - Monday 1st July 2019
The day is free, but schools are required to pay a deposit of £100, which is returnable if the school attends the event. The event is initially limited to 15 students per school, although additional places may become available after the deadline. Light refreshments will be provided during the morning and afternoon breaks, but students and staff should bring their own lunch. Your school/college is responsible for complying with regulations regarding trips for your students. Please let us know if there is anything you think we might be able to help with. The deadline for receiving the deposit is Monday 10th June. Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional places may be allocated after the deadline, shared evenly between schools requesting them. Please remember to send the deposit by cheque payable to ‘The Mathematical Institute, Oxford University’ to Nia Roderick, Mathematical Institute, University of Oxford, Radcliffe Observatory Quarter, Woodstock Road, Oxford, OX2 6GG. Please write your school name and ‘Oxon Why FM’ on the reverse of the cheque. If you have any queries, please contact Alexandra Hewitt (alexandra.hewitt@amsp.org.uk)
