The Council will be selecting nominees to form a team of approximately 10 persons who will represent a good cross section of Georgetown in terms of gender, age, perspectives, and longevity at Georgetown. The Nominating Team for Elders, Deacons, and Care Providers will not be reviewing or vetting these names as part of the selection process; neither will the congregation be voting on them. As you nominate yourself or others, consider men and women who are invested in and loyal to Georgetown, and who represent what Georgetown is as well as what it is becoming. (Nominate as many as you wish; there will be approximately 10 positions that the Council will fill).
