If possible, the Scholars Steering Committee (SSC) is made up of one graduate student and postdoc representative from each of the eight member institutions of the Gulf Coast Consortia. The time commitment would include attending a monthly standing steering committee meeting and helping plan and participate in an event once a semester. The events planned are what you as a trainee want to see in the Texas Medical Center.
