NPC Outdoor Program Daily Preregistration
Dear Families, Welcome to our Northampton Parents Center and Northampton/Hadley Family Connection Outdoor Programs for families with young children (birth to kindergarten age)! Please read the following and then continue below to register. We look forward to seeing you outdoors! All of our programs are free of charge. Donations are always welcome. Due to the pandemic we have to have families preregister, both to be sure our group size is not too large and to be able to contact you in the event of a COVID-19 case in our community.
Northampton Parents Center’s COVID-19 Pandemic Social Contract
For all NPC In-Person Outdoor Programs
(unless specifically otherwise stated to have different guidelines)
NPC aims to offer safe, healthy outdoor programming for all of our families with young children. To be able to do that, we seek your full support and cooperation with the COVID-19 public health and safety guidelines.
I agree that I will wear a face mask
I agree that all children in my care, ages 2 and above, will wear a mask
I agree to stay home if I or any of my family/social unit members has symptoms associated with any kind of illness
I agree to give names and contact information for all of my family’s participating members, in the event that contact tracing is necessary
I understand that I am responsible for myself and the children in my care at all times
If these guidelines become challenging for you or your family, please feel free to reach out to the Coordinator for support and suggestions.
*NOTE: We recognize that CDC guidelines are currently shifting regarding mask wearing. We are at this point holding to our mask requirements during this time of transition, for maximum health and safety and to be in compliance with City and State requirements for outdoor events where distancing is often not feasible. Thank you for your understanding.
We appreciate your assistance with supporting our community’s well being. We will do our best to offer the wonderfully welcoming, fun, and connected programming that we always strive for!
In the cold weather, we are having play time and then doing a moving circle time. For warmer weather playgroups, you are welcome to bring a blanket for you and your family to use during Story Time and Circle Time. Families will be distanced during these parts of the programs. We will have extra blankets and also extra masks on hand for those who need them. We will also supply hand sanitizer. Please note, there are no bathroom facilities available at most of our outdoor locations, due to the pandemic.
Please let us know if your plans change, so we can have an accurate sense of our group size.
Looking forward to seeing you soon and enjoying our outdoor programs together.
