1. North Florida VegFest reserves the right to accept, decline or make exceptions to any application at its discretion. 2. Each vendor must submit an individual application and payment. Spaces may not be combined. 3. Setup begins at 7:00am on March 4, 2023. Vendors must be ready for operation by 9:30am. 4. Vendors must staff their exhibits during the entire event from 10:00am to 4:00pm. 5. Vendors are responsible for setup and breakdown of their exhibit. Each vendor will receive a 10x10 space and should provide their own tent, table, and sandbags unless other arrangements are made in advance. Per city park policy, no stakes are allowed. Sandbags/weights must be used to secure tent. Since this is an outdoor festival, a tent is encouraged though not required. 6. All tables must be covered with tablecloths. Vendors must provide their own tablecloths. 7. Vendors must have signage clearly identifying the name of the vendor. Food vendors must have signage clearly listing food offerings and prices. 8. Vendors shall exhibit, sell, or give away only merchandise, literature, and services specified in Application. 9. Vendors shall not sell or give away food or beverages without prior approval. Alcohol is not permitted. 10. All food and beverages sold or given away must be vegan. Vegan means NO animal products: no meat, poultry, fish, pork, eggs, dairy, gelatin, whey, casein, or honey. All fresh produce sold should be organic and locally grown. 11. All food vendors are encouraged to use recyclable and/or compostable service ware. No Styrofoam will be permitted. 12.All vendors offering food must follow the Tom Brown Park Food Vending Regulations. Required documentation includes: provide proof of vehicle insurance if utilizing motorized transportation, Proof of all licenses/permits required to sell food. License from DBPR. State of Florida Business License and current General Liability Insurance Certificate naming the City of Tallahassee as an additional insured (copies of these documents must be emailed and brought with you). Please contact your insurance company and have them update your policy accordingly. 13. All merchandise sold or given away must be vegan (no wool, leather, fur, silk or beeswax), not tested on animals, and should be as environmentally friendly as possible. All items and information promoted must be vegan. 14. Please do not request access to electricity unless you really need it. There are limited locations where electricity is available. 15. Graphic imagery should only be presented to attendees who “opt in” to seeing it. This means that graphic imagery is not acceptable in displays that are viewable by people walking by your table. Graphic imagery is acceptable in leaflets or other materials that attendees opt to receive. 16. Should any contingency interrupt or prevent the holding of North Florida VegFest, including but not limited to inclement weather, war, terrorism, or lockouts, then event coordinators, sponsors, partners and North Florida VegFest shall in no way be liable to vendors. Should any contingency prohibit the event from taking place on March 4, 2023, event coordinators will make their best effort to reschedule the event on a weekend day as near to the original date as possible. 17. Vendors agree to make no claim for any reason against event coordinators, North Florida VegFest, Sponsors or the City of Tallahassee for loss, theft, damage, or destruction of goods, nor for injury to themselves, employees, volunteers, or visitors incurred at the event. 18. North Florida VegFest will follow all COVID guidelines issued by the local health department officials. 19. No generators are allowed, electric available for an additional charge.
