This is an open call for submissions for two different festival shows featuring up-and-coming comedians. For these features, we're looking for comedians we haven't heard of, and who have never performed on the shows in our festival.
Our featured standup show will be on Sunday September 6th at 7pm, and our featured comedy variety show will be Wednesday September 9th at 8:30pm. Both shows will be at the Brooklyn Comedy Collective Deep Space. You can only submit to one show, which means you will submit to EITHER our standup show or our variety show for clown, character, musical comedy, or anything else.
IF YOU ARE SUBMITTING TO THE VARIETY SHOW: The venue does not have tech other than a microphone so we recommend submitting a low-tech act.
NOTE: We will not be able to respond to each submission, and will be reaching out to book comedians in August. We're looking to put together a cohesive lineup of comedians our team doesn't know, so if you aren't selected, it might be because we've heard of you! Otherwise, we encourage you to apply again next year.
