2024-25 Faith Formation and Sacramental Prep for St. Lawrence, St. Mary's and St. Teresa

Please read through the following details concerning our primary formation offerings for St. Lawrence, St. Mary's, and St. Teresa parishes. This will give you a brief summary before deciding which offering is best suited for your family. For Parents with Children Grades K - 8:

All families with children grades K-8 are expected to enroll their child in one of our formation offerings at St. Lawrence, St. Mary's, or St. Teresa. Families are welcome to register at any of these offerings, regardless to home parish. As a summary, these options include:

St. Lawrence Catholic School- Call 812-537-3690 if you have questions or need to register your child for the upcoming school year. Please complete this online registration to enroll your First Communion Student only.
St. Mary's Religious Education- Weekly classes for grades K-8, Wednesdays 6:30-8:00pm, following a traditional CCD format. Please complete this online registration to enroll.
St. Teresa Family Formation K-5 and Middle School Classroom Grades 6-7-8- Focusing on formation for the entire family for children grades K-5, Family Formation requires attendance of parent or guardian and children for twice monthly meetings. This program is open to families with children grades K-5; families with younger children (babysitting offered), and adults of any age who simply want to continue learning about their faith and grow in community with other faith-filled families. Our Middle School Class meets the same time for youth in grades 6-7-8; parents not required to stay but are welcome to join the Family Formation adults. Please complete this online registration to enroll.
Homeschooling with intentional age-appropriate religious education. Since there is no parish program involved, please complete this online registration to enroll your First Communion Student only.

Sacramental Prep Registration -

First Sacraments for Reconciliation and Holy Communion- Baptized children in second grade and up who are participating in one of the four formation options listed above are welcome to prepare to receive First Holy Communion. This preparation will include (6) once a month parent and child meetings held at St. Lawrence; Please note - St. Lawrence School and Homeschool children desiring to receive First Holy Communion must complete this online registration to enroll in this program.

Confirmation- Confirmation prep is offered to all high school youth. This program will be offered at All Saints for the 2024-25 school year and all Dearborn County Catholics are welcome to register. If you have a teen needing the Sacrament of Confirmation, please email kimsprague@dccatholics.com.
