The Farm at Walnut Creek- Summer EGG CSA Interest Form
As we plan for our Summer Egg CSA, please let us know if you are interested in more information about joining. This CSA will run approximately from late May/early June til September 2020
If the concept of a CSA is new to you, welcome! CSA (community supported agriculture)- a system in which a farm operation is supported by shareholders within the community who share both the benefits and risks of farming.
We started The Farm at Walnut Creek in 2017. We are a small family run farm located in Hamilton, Loudoun County, Virginia. Our goal is to provide natural, delicious food to the local community.
We use natural processes to grow great food, regenerate the land, and show respect for the natural ecosystems. The Farm is not certified organic, but we use organic processes whenever possible. We do not use any chemicals on our farm. We also do not use pesticides, herbicides, fungicides or insecticides.
Right now on our farm we are raising chickens and pigs. (Our Pastured Pork is sold out for now, but stay tuned). All animals on our farm are pasture-raised. We supplement our chickens with locally sourced, high- quality non-GMO feed from Ernst Grain & Livestock in nearby Clearspring, MD.
If you choose to be a member of our Spring Egg CSA, you will pre-pay for your share of pasture-raised, non-GMO eggs at the start of the CSA. You will receive your weekly share for the duration of the CSA. Customers will pick up their weekly eggs. In return, our farm will provide your weekly egg share for the duration of the Egg CSA season.
Pick up options are: Reston (Stratton Woods Neighborhood), Ashburn (Broadlands Neighborhood), or our farm in Hamilton.
