The award is open to all New Hampshire public and private school teachers employed in grades K-12, college or graduate school educators and non-formal educators working in New Hampshire. We are particularly interested in educators that are spearheading efforts to incorporate diversity, equity, and inclusion into their programming. Runners-up from previous years are eligible and encouraged to apply.
The winning educator will receive a $200 cash award and a one-year membership in New Hampshire Environmental Educators. The nomination deadline is March 1, 2019.
A selection committee will choose the award recipient by reviewing completed applications, and will notify the chosen nominee and the primary nominator shortly thereafter. Recognition of the winner will occur at the NHEE Annual Conference (This year's theme is "Growing EE IDEAs: Inclusive, Diverse, Equitable and Accessible") April 13th at SNHU in Manchester, NH.
Nominations may be submitted either on an educator’s own behalf or by a colleague, supervisor, or student. You can both fill out the nomination information and attach documents of support using this form.
You can access and edit your form even after it is submitted if you would like to go back and add further information, comments, documents or others' letters of support.
Thank you!NHEE Board of Directors
