RSVP: Enhancing Oregon's Coastal Zone Management - Nov 1 and 8
The Oregon Coastal Management Program (OCMP) wants to hear from you. RSVP to one of two events below.
OCMP, a division of Oregon’s Department of Land Conservation and Development (DLCD), is undergoing strategic planning that will guide the program’s work over the next five years. As part of this enhancement process, OCMP is charged with addressing and therefore is seeking feedback on the following 9 categories in addition to other issues that arise through the public engagement: Wetlands, Coastal Hazards, Public Access, Marine Debris, Cumulative and Secondary Impacts, Special Area Management Planning, Ocean and Great Lakes Resources, Energy and Government Facility Siting, and Aquaculture.
In order to capture the full breadth of current and emerging issues facing the Oregon Coast, the OCMP is soliciting feedback through a variety of engagement activities, including two interactive engagement workshops to discuss coastal issues impacting Oregon. This process will directly inform the OCMP’s strategies for program enhancement and its next Strategic Plan.
