State Superintendent Tony Evers is inviting stakeholders from across the state to offer their thoughts on this first draft so the Department of Public Instruction can make revisions resulting in a second draft (version 2.0) that will be sent to Governor Walker for a required review. After his review is completed, Wisconsin will submit a finalized application to the federal government on September 18, 2017.
This feedback form is one way in which we are soliciting feedback. The Department of Public Instruction will also be hosting meetings in June (announced later in May) that will be open to the general public to solicit additional input, seeking feedback from the State Superintendent's Equity Council, and asking for a legislative review by the Assembly and Senate Education Committees in July.
