What is the God Squad? The God Squad is a high school leadership team created specifically for the Idaho Catholic Youth Conference. The God Squad is made up of approximately 25-35 high school students who have already been Confirmed (or for those in the process of preparing for confirmation if your parish confirms later then 10th grade). God Squad members are Catholic youth who are actively involved in their parish communities and who are excited to live out their Catholic faith in both word and action.
God Squad team members have a very important and significant role with ICYC. God Squad team members create the "Official Theme Song” dance and lead it through the weekend. They are also the participants of all the skits, give talks and testimonies during the conference, lead prayer experiences as well as lead participants in games and activities.
God Squad team members also contribute by being an example and witness to their peers throughout the weekend as well as by participating in acts of prayer and service.
