Requirements to enroll in an after-school CCA course:

Students must be incoming 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th-grade students for this school year from one of our two partner districts.

Students must be available for the entire course schedule. CCA will not make accommodations for personal schedules (team sport, job, performance rehearsals or other extracurricular activities). Students can enroll using the QR code on the After-School Course Registration Form or with their Career Guidance Specialist (CGS) until the day before the class begins.  On or after the start date of the class, students will register through their CGS at their school site.

Registering does not guarantee enrollment into the course. CCA will email parents/guardians and students notification of their status in late spring.  If registration is full students will be placed on a waitlist and added as space becomes available.

Students must have transportation to attend and exit class on time. CCA and its partner districts cannot provide transportation.

For classes that meet once a week, students may add up to the second class meeting.

For classes that meet two or more times per week, students may add up to the third class meeting.

●    Dropping a CCA class: Students must send a drop request, in writing, to their counselor or CGS for approval.  Counselors, Guidance Techs or CGS's will complete the  CCA Drop Request Form when a student wants to drop a course. The drop deadline follows the CUSD policy for students and is the end of the 6-week progress report period.

CCA may cancel a course offering at any time.

If a student has excessive absences, tardiness, and other misbehavior, they may be dropped from the course.

Students who have not attended a once-a-week class by the second class meeting will be dropped from the class.  Students who have not attended a two day a week class by the third class meeting will be dropped from the class per CCA discretion.

By checking the box below, I understand and agree with the above referenced requirements to enroll in a CCA After Bell Course.  Failure to maintain coursework or meet attendance expectations may result in a failing grade on my CUSD transcript.  I understand recurrent scheduling conflicts with my course will adversely affect my final CCA grade that will be on my official CUSD transcript.
