Benet Academy Freshman Community Service Scholarship
As a Catholic College Preparatory High School in the Benedictine tradition, Benet Academy awards Service Scholarships to students who demonstrate a deep commitment to Christian service, leadership, and community engagement. Rooted in the Benedictine values of humility, hospitality, and community, this scholarship honors students who embody a spirit of selflessness and a desire to serve others. Recipients of this scholarship are expected to demonstrate an active contribution to their school, community, and church through Christian service work, projects, and leadership in both the corporal and spiritual works of mercy. This scholarship nurtures the growth of our school community by welcoming students who will build the Benedictine ideals of faith, service, and academic excellence while empowering our students to grow as compassionate leaders and stewards of the Church and their communities.
Award Details:
Scholarships of up to $2,500 will be awarded.
Awards are determined based on a complete application and review by the scholarship committee.
Eligibility Criteria:
Incoming freshman student accepted to Benet Academy.
Demonstrated excellence in community service through volunteerism, leadership, and initiative.
Application Requirements:
Completed scholarship application.
A written statement describing the applicant's community service involvement and its impact.
Adult Reference Form highlighting the applicant's dedication to service and leadership. This form should NOT be filled out by a parent or guardian of the incoming Freshman applicant.
Applications will be carefully reviewed by a scholarship committee, with recipients selected based on the quality and depth of their community service contributions.

The completed application must be submitted using this form by 5:00pm (CDT) on Friday, February 7, 2025.
