The Pawling Human Library Project seeks to deepen school and community connections to support more authentic, real-world learning opportunities for students;
Engage one another in meaningful communication in a context in which everyone's story is valued;
Enhance knowledge of the diversity of the Pawling community.

The only thing readers are going to see about your book before "checking it out" will be a title and blurb. What is the title of your book? Examples: Vegan Activist, Dealing with Difference Through Music, and Refugee from Nicaragua.

Provide a short informative description of the story you will tell. Example: "This book helps run the Student Association of Vegan and Vegetarian Youth. In addition to activism and outreach, she works with Dining Services to monitor and improve the quality of vegetarian and vegan options on campus." it is best if you write your blurb in the third person the way it would appear on a book jacket. Use the example above as a model.
