Please use this form to sign up to our chess camp on 14-18 August 2023 (Monday to Friday). This camp is for children aged 6 to 14 and it will take place in St Conleth's College (28 Clyde Road, Ballsbridge, D04 FT98).
Students will learn about the history of chess, chess tactics and strategy and study games of famous players. Participants will take part in a camp championship with prizes (trophies, chess books and medals). We will also organise for them a bug-house chess tournament. Students can attend the camp for any number of days. Complete beginners are welcome to join as long as they start on the 14th of August as we will have a special sub-group for them on that day, reviewing the rules of chess.
An early drop-off at 9:30 is possible at no extra charge - students will play friendly games under supervision.
Food requirements: please provide your child with packed lunch and a few drinks.
No fizzy drinks, chewing gum, popcorn, nut or nut-containing products. Please make sure your child has appropriate clothing and footwear for outside activities. Mobile phones are not prohibited at camp, but should remain powered off in students' bags. Photographs and videos may be taken at the camp for promotional reasons.
Please arrange full payment in advance, unless you want to pay cash.

Payment options are listed below. IMPORTANT: when making a payment, please provide proper reference, so your payment can be identified. It's best to give your child's name/surname & camp - words like 'chess', 'mid-term', etc only take up scarce space (especially when paying by EFT). Note that when you add money via ApplePay & Revolut without a reference, it's simply impossible to identify such payment!
