Del Rey Slow Streets Survey
Slow Streets are streets designated for people to walk, run, bike, and otherwise use the street space while maintaining social distancing during COVID-19. They are designed to eliminate cut through traffic and make the streets safer for all.

Slow streets work by placing a cone and sign at each end of the block, asking cars to slow down and indicating the street as a slow street. Cars, emergency vehicles, and trash vehicles can still pass through, and parking is not impacted.

Since mid-May, 2020, the Del Rey NC has rolled out the following slow streets:

Beethoven St. (south of Short)
Redwood Ave. (was eventually removed)
Chase Ave.
Kenyon Ave.
Lindblade Dr.
Kensington Rd.
Moore St.(added mid-project)
Westlawn Ave. (added mid-project)
Allin St.
Culver Dr./Mesmer Ave.
Wagner St. (add mid-project)
Slauson Ave. (was eventually removed)
