Customer Service Representative - Tropiq Ethiopia
We are looking for a Customer Relations Representative to join our team in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. This is a junior to mid-level position with great opportunities for growth. While you will have full support on your initial learning curve, we seek an autonomous sales person who can quickly take responsibility for their customers, while developing new relationships.

The Customer Relations Representative in Addis Ababa will be responsible for:
- Managing the needs of customers of the Tropiq sourcing service seeking volumes of 100+ bags to full containers
- Sales and contracting of purchased coffees
- Planning travel to all producing regions in the country and accompanying customers to washing stations, mills and farms
- Selecting coffees and running cuppings for visiting customers
- Building and maintaining good relationships with suppliers and partners in Ethiopia
- Gathering information from all existing and future supplying partners
- Creating marketing content including coffee information sheets, harvest and container updates
- Co-managing samples in the Lab.

The ideal candidate will have:
- 2 - 5 years sales or customer service experience in a B2B environment
- A network of higher volume specialty roasteries globally
- Solid cupping skills
- Willingness to commit to living in Ethiopia for at least two years
- A strong commitment to high quality, traceable and transparent coffee
- A structured and goal oriented approach to work
- A customer-focused mindset
- A willingness to solve and adapt to complex problems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Bonus skills and experience include:
- Significant time spent in an African country
- Lab, sample management and/or sample roasting
- Proven writing, content creation, and social media skills
