SUBMISSION FORM - TECA PRACTICES AND TECHNOLOGIES
 
The sharing of practices and technologies and innovations is a viable pathway to address common challenges that small farmers face and to accelerate progress towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
 
This form is for TECA partners and non-partners to submit information on their respective practices and technologies. All practices should have been previously successfully implemented and validated as before being shared. In addition, practices should adhere to the criteria of being:

• effective and successful;  
• environmentally, economically and socially sustainable;  
• gender-sensitive;  
• technically feasible;  
• replicable; and
• adaptable.    
 
This Call welcomes the submission of practices and technologies from the following TECA categories, which comprise of cross-cutting categories such as gender and knowledge processes:

• Agricultural mechanization
• Beekeeping
• Capacity development
• Climate change and disaster risk reduction
• Crop production
• Fisheries and aquaculture
• Forestry
• Livestock production
• Natural resource management
• Nutrition for a better life
• Post-harvest and marketing

PLEASE NOTE:  

A) Partners need to belong to organizations, institutions, etc. The respondent cannot be an individual innovator.  

B) Technologies protected by a patent or holding any property rights cannot be considered. TECA is an open-access platform where users can freely use and implement technologies/practices. Therefore, technologies/practices protected by a patent or any type of property rights cannot be considered unless the rights holder explicitly authorizes FAO to publish on the website for users to freely use the content.  

C) In case a technology/practice is selected for further documentation, the applicant should guarantee that somebody will be available to work with FAO to further develop the practice until it meets the TECA standards.
