Marianne Oberg Scholarship Application
Students Access Funds are based on financial need and subject to the availability of monies from Clayworks. The funds are restricted to Adult Programming classes and exclude memberships, studio sales, workshops and other events. This application and proof of income are required. Funds are limited to one per family/household and are non-transferable.The Clayworks scholarship committee wants to support as many individuals as we can with our resources. Therefore, in a given calendar year the committee will give lower priority to previous recipients of the award.

If awarded, recipient will agree to the following requirements:
• Attend all classes, except in the case of an illness or emergency
• Agree to Clayworks use of recipient’s quotes, feedback or pictures of artwork

If awarded, recipient will receive the following:
• Cost of Adult Programming Class (tuition fully covered), which includes clay and basic tools

Adult Programming Policy:
• Clayworks will not offer make-up days for absences
• Schedule of classes and instructors are subject to change without notice
• Clayworks reserves the right to cancel courses if there are not enough pre-registered students

Scholarship applications should be received on or before the following dates:
• Deadline for Winter Session – December 1
• Deadline for Spring Session – March 1
• Deadline for Summer Session – June 1
• Deadline for Fall Session – August 1

Application Directions
• Fill out the below application
• Provide a copy of last year’s tax return
• If not employed, fill out the employee’s portion with the head of household’s information and provide the head of household’s copy of last year’s tax return
• If self employed, additionally describe business If approved, a Clayworks team member will notify you
• Incomplete applications will not be accepted
• Applicants must re-apply for each class session
