2024-2025 Classroom Grants
The mission of the Broken Arrow PTA Grants is to help the continued excellence of Broken Arrow Elementary by funding academic enrichment, programs, and other innovative education projects.  

The PTA seeks to award grants for projects/programs/equipment that best meet the following criteria:
 - Strengthen student learning and support the Shawnee Mission School District curriculum;
 - Enhance teaching strategies that foster creativity and encourage differentiated learning;
 - Reach a diverse student population and produce multiple benefits (academic, character development, leadership skills, etc.);
 - Support pilot programs that will develop over time;
 - Have measurable objectives.

Grant Awards

The amount awarded to any one applicant will vary by need.

Please note that these grants are to purchase materials, etc for the benefit of Broken Arrow students. Teachers whose grant is approved for purchase agree that the materials etc. are property of Broken Arrow and are not to be taken with the teacher should they depart for a different teaching assignment.

Who Can Apply?

Any Broken Arrow Elementary teacher or member of the support staff can apply for a grant.  

Application Process

Fill out the questionnaire as thoroughly as possible.
The PTA encourages the applicant to email photographs, websites, and other forms of media, research, and feedback to help in the review process.
