Belong Dinner Group | Fall 2019- Spring 2020
Small Group Ministry at Eagle River Presbyterian Church
Dinner Groups are a great way for those in our church community to meet new people and get to know others better!
It’s nice to see familiar faces at church, but if you really want to build friendships, small dinner groups are a great way to go. The dinners provide an opportunity to spend time eating and sharing together.
What happens at a Belong Dinner Group gathering?
Groups of 8 to 10 people will get together at a participant's home or a local restaurant.
The emphasis is on fun and fellowship, so you don't have to be a great cook to participate.
At the end of the day, the specifics surrounding the dinner are up to the individual group.
Fanciness is NOT the expectation; fellowship should be your priority.
What is the commitment to participate in a Belong Dinner Group?
Groups will stay together for 9 months, September - May,
and strive to gather together for a meal 4 times.
What does a Belong Dinner Group Gathering look like?
The gathering can be hosted at someone's house, or at a restaurant.
If hosted at someone's house, typically, we ask the hosts to provide the main dish,
while the others provide side dishes for the dinner.
The focus is not about the meal is, but spending time with one another.
Sign-ups are open now.
Groups will be formed and notified by September 4
