2021-2022 Shared Decision Making Council Application
As a part of the strategic plan, the Petal School District will continue to develop its shared decision making philosophy. The Petal School District Shared Decision Making Council and School Shared Decision Making Councils continue to function with the responsibility for facilitating and providing oversight of the operations within the school district. This includes the review of school improvement plans and consistency of communication between schools and throughout the district.

Community-at-large representatives will be approved annually to serve on the District and School Shared Decision Making Councils for a two-year term. Community-at-large members must be residents or taxpayers of the Petal School District or own a business, company, or institution located in the Petal School District. Anyone who would like to be considered as an applicant should complete the application below. All applications must be received on or before August 2, 2021.
