ALTERING THE WILLIAMSTOWN RAILWAY LINE IS A CURRENT ISSUE NOVEMBER 2019
The State Government Level Crossing Authority is about to commence public consultation about the removal of ONE dangerous level crossing at Ferguson St.  https://levelcrossings.vic.gov.au/media/news/ferguson-street

WHY DO WE NEED AN ALTERNATIVE SOLUTION
There are THREE dangerous level crossings in Williamstown/Newport - Ferguson St, Giffard St and Maddox Rd -  all require schoolchildren as young as 5 to cross dangerous railway lines.  Better Public Transport in South West Corridor is urgently needed.

PROPOSED SOLUTION - A FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR BUILDING THE TUNNELS BY 2022
A 21st century solution is possible for the Williamstown peninsula using demand-activated, frequent, ultra fast, electric public transport vehicles connecting 24/7 to city train services at Newport Station Hub from many parts of Williamstown, Newport, Spotswood and Altona North.
