Human Book Application
Hello, I want to start off by thanking you for your interest in our fourth Sedona Human Library sponsored by the Sedona International City of Peace, Rotary Club, and Sedona Public Library on September 20-21, 2020. This program provides an opportunity for our community to connect with your unique set of life experiences and stories challenged by stereotypes and prejudices. Through positive dialogue in small groups online, the Human Library’s goals are to encourage new ideas and ways of thinking, to celebrate differences, and to foster understanding and community building.

As a Human Book, you will be sharing your personal experiences of challenges and triumphs faced in being judged or stereotyped. It is important to display respect for our reader's limitations and opinions. Readers will be able to ‘borrow’ you to hear/talk about your experiences online during three scheduled 45-minute sessions.

Due to physical distancing requirements, we are masterminding this MORE THAN EVER NEEDED EVENT ONLINE on Zoom. This will require extra training and patience in our partnership to safely present this event online.

Today, please fill out this application, which is your request to participate. Please fill this out by July 27, 2020. If you have any question or need support, please contact us at sedonahumanlibrary@gmail.com.
