Our 2025 summer camps for minis and juniors will run from Monday 11th August to Wednesday 13th August (minis) or 14th August (junior) and will be held at  Walhampton School, Main Road, Lymington, Hampshire, SO41 5ZG

Mini camp 3 days

Junior camp 4 days - the last day is a xc and forest ride day for those capable of independent riding.

This is a day camp available to all of our mini and junior members – Maximum age approximately 12yrs. The price includes the venue and first class tuition, plus fun games and activities. Children 7yrs and under must be accompanied throughout by a parent / guardian.

The days will run from approximately 9.30am usually finishing by 4pm. All activities are age and ability appropriate. We provide flat work tuition, showjumping, mounted games, and stable management with some badges.


Cost:   £165 for mini camp and £195 for junior camp which includes:

  • 3 - mini or 4 - junior days of fun and instruction.
  • Fully qualified instructors will be in attendance
  • Parking and loos
  • Beautiful Walhampton grounds with safely enclosed fields for parking and activities.
  • Surface arena
  • All instructors/trainers/committee present have DBS, First Aid and Safeguarding certificates

What to bring:  A kit list will be available on our website.

To confirm your place please complete all sections of the form below  and make payment of £165 via horse events by 30th June 2025. Junior camp day 4 is an additional £30 a payment link will be made available in due course.

All monies are non-refundable unless camp is cancelled or a doctor or vet certificate is provided.

All parents with children aged 7 and under are expected to stay on site during the duration of the camp day. On the final day all parents are expected to help with general tidying up and take down of resources used during camp - marquee, jumps etc. Please bring a packed lunch and plenty of snacks and drinks to share with your family every day. Prize giving will be Wednesday afternoon and equine passports will be returned once camping area is clean and tidy prior to departure.

Mobile Phones: Children do not need mobile phones with them. In case of emergency there will be a mobile phones with organisers and instructors.

In the event of the member requiring emergency medical or dental treatment whilst taking part in the Pony Club activity as described above, and an Officer or other responsible adult being unable to contact either myself or other person with a parental responsibility for them. I hereby authorise the District Commissioner / Centre Proprietor or other Official of the Pony Club to obtain such medical or dental treatment for the member as they, in their absolute discretion, think necessary after consultation with a medical or dental practitioner. This authority extends to all medical and dental treatment including the giving of an anaesthetic where necessary.
