Girls Only Touch/Tag Rugby Term 3
INDOOR Girls Tag-Touch Module Term 3 2021
What – Indoor Girls Tag-Touch is an opportunity for girls wishing to play Touch in a modified indoor format. It is a game of touch played on a netball/basketball court with four girls per-side. The rational behind girls only is to provide young female players with the confidence to play with an oval ball with their peers in a smaller, modified format, with more touches of the ball, more involvement, more tries.

Players wear a belt with two tags on their hips. All the same rules apply as per a game of touch, except instead of a touch being made on the player in possession, the defender must rip off one of the attacking players tags. The attacking player needs to plant the ball and step over it where the tag is made.
