Artists in Education (AIE) Grant - Technical Assistance Workshop at Appel Farm - December 7, 2017 (9:30 am - 12:00 pm)
The Artists in Education (AIE) Residency Grant Program, in conjunction with Appel Farm Arts & Music Center, invite you to a technical assistance workshop for the grant application process. The Artists in Education Residency grant program places practicing professional artists in long-term residencies (20+ days) in schools across the state. Residencies are offered in all disciplines including the visual, literary, and performing arts and at all grade levels.

All school representatives, particularly those new to the Artists in Education Residency Grant Program, are encouraged to attend an AIE Residency Grant Workshop, which includes an introduction and overview of the AIE Program, activities designed to help schools plan for and prepare an application, and a question-and-answer period. Each workshop is led by AIE staff and a school teacher and/or administrator with AIE experience.

Attendees receive documentation of professional development hours as recommended by the New Jersey Department of Education.

If you are a teaching artist, it is recommended that you call the AIE Administrator (609-984-7019) prior to registering for the workshop, as our technical assistance workshops are geared towards school staff and representatives.
