SLCE Conference
The Service-Learning & Civic Engagement Conference (SLCE) is an annual event hosted by the Campus Compact Mid-Atlantic. Through workshops, dialogues, and speakers, institutions throughout Maryland, D.C., and Delaware come together around topics of community service, service-learning and civic engagement.

Save the date November 16, 2019 to join 300 students, faculty, and staff to explore this years theme “Passion to Action” at the University of Maryland, College Park. A perfect time to engage with a diverse group of our community members on ways they have turned their own passions into lifelong action.

SLCE Awards
The Service-Learning & Civic Engagement Conference conference is an opportunity to recognize and honor faculty members, staff, students and community partners for their contributions to service-learning and civic engagement in Maryland, Delaware, and Washington, DC. The SLCE Conference annually rewards 5 categories of awards: faculty, staff, undergraduate student, graduate student, and community partner.
Nomination Instructions
To submit a nomination, nominators must complete this nomination form along with a letter of recommendation. The letter of recommendation should specifically address the award criteria for that particular award. Letters should be no more than 500 words.

Please submit your nomination by Sunday, September 30. Selected awardees will be notified by the Awards Committee on October 14. Awardees will be recognized at the SLCE Conference at University of Maryland, College Park on Saturday, November 16.
