Assessment for MSP Panniculectomy
This assessment will help to determine if you are a candidate for an MSP insured panniculectomy with Dr. Reid. A score of 8 or more suggests that you may benefit from our panniculectomy procedure. In contrast, a score of < 8 suggests that you are not a suitable candidate for the surgical procedure that we have available (the risk : benefit ratio is unacceptably high).

In addition to a score of 8 or more, we will reference the Pittsburgh Rating Scale to establish MSP coverage. A Grade 3 abdomen will be required as defined by: multiple abdominal rolls; or, a lower abdominal skin fold in combination with significant upper abdominal fullness / laxity.

Other providers may use a different methodology to determine candidacy.

Thank you in advance for your interest in our practice and for taking the time to complete this.
