I consider myself an active church member who is welcome and appreciated at St. Timothy’s.
I have the opportunity to use my talents, gifts, and skills at St. Timothy’s.
I have an opportunity to serve on the vestry and/or other committees at St. Timothy’s if I choose.
Communication at St. Timothy’s is open and I know what is going on.
St. Timothy’s has a clear mission statement:
“Saint Timothy's is a Spiritual Sanctuary where all are accepted and allowed to be themselves. We are a community committed to Worship, Christian education, and reaching out to care for the needs of our neighbors.”
St. Timothy’s mission statement matches my values and beliefs. (see above mission statement)
I am comfortable expressing my needs / concerns to the vicar.
The vicar is open and responsive to ideas, concerns, and issues raised by parishioners and visitors.
St. Timothy’s offers an opportunity to engage in Christian education / formation.
Church space should be open for community functions.
In the past, we have shared joint ministries and special services with the other Episcopal parishes in Kingsport. I would like to see these increased.
The clergy and pastoral care committee members are readily accessible when needed.
Reverend Jon Hermes is a bi-vocational priest where he works a separate full-time job. This arrangement of “part-time clergy” is meeting my needs as a parishioner of St. Timothy’s.
I am indifferent or prefer not to continue shared ministries with the other Episcopal parishes in Kingsport.
The vestry is open and responsive to ideas, concerns, and issues raised by parishioners and visitors.
I am comfortable expressing my needs / concerns to the committees and/or vestry of St. Timothy’s when they arise.
It is important for Saint Timothy’s to grow in size.
