Volunteer for No Pipeline Hearing Recruitment
The Department of State Lands, a state agency that can deny permits on the pipeline project, has scheduled hearings on "Removal-fill' permit applications for Jordan Cove during first week of January. These permit hearings come at a critical time in the pipeline fight. We can't count on federal agencies to deny pipeline permits under the Trump administration, so we need to push extra hard on state agencies and Governor Kate Brown to uphold our state environmental laws by denying pipeline permits once and for all!
To demonstrate our opposition to this project, we need to mobilize hundreds of people to write comments and attend public hearings. That means will need you to help with recruitment phone banks to let our communities know about the hearings so we can have record turnout. Thanks for signing up to help out during this critical recruitment push!
