CLS Alumni Society Membership Application Form
Congratulations on completing the Critical Language Scholarship. This form is the only way to join the Critical Language Scholarship Alumni Society, an independent nonprofit organization for CLS alumni of all languages and years.
The CLSAS Membership Application Form is designed to learn and cater to your interests including mentorship programming, continuing language study, professional development, and regional event planning. Information collected will not be shared with outside parties without your permission. Questions will address your demographics, CLS experience(s), and your professional and educational experience(s) thus far. Because an alumni association is only as successful as its members' dynamic engagement, timely ideas, and committed support, we want to learn of your interests, expertise, and ways you may like to contribute.
This application will end with your selection of one of four memberships:
The latter three will require fees, and the amount is dependent on the paid membership duration chosen. More detailed information regarding membership and the purpose of dues will be included near the end of the application, and is also available on our website,
This application is expected to take approximately 10 minutes to complete and cannot be saved once begun. After you submit your application, an automated confirmation email will be sent. Student, Professional, and Patron members will receive a payment link in a separate email. All members, including General, will be notified of their approval within 10 business days (PLEASE NOTE: In these initial weeks of launching CLSAS, it may take us more than 10 days to approve your application.)
If you have any questions, concerns, and/or would like to convey any additional information, please contact us at
