We are looking for creative, motivated and happy people to work on our summer staff this season. Yesteryears has been doing 'Old Time Photos' in Rehoboth Beach since 1981. We dress customers in period costumes, complete with hats and props, and photograph them on vintage style sets. We process the photos in color or sepia tone and sell the prints along with frames, mounts, posters and accessories.

As a summer employee of Yesteryears you will be expected to learn and excel at all the functions of the business from greeting customers to selling our products. Previous photographic experience is not required, but a positive attitude is required. We expect our employees to be personable, intelligent, creative, communicative, mature and honest. You must like to work with people, especially children. You must come to work on time, well groomed and ready to work hard. You must be professional and personable at all times when representing our company.

Our starting pay is $8.25 per hour with a raise when we are satisfied that you can perform all aspects of the job without supervision. This usually takes 4 weeks. At this time employees are also eligible for our bonus program. Which is basically 5% of all sales above minimum initial purchase. Bonus will discussed in detail after hiring. Tips are not expected but accepted. We have a tip line on our credit cards slips and a jar on the counter for cash. Tips & bonus can significantly increase income over the course of a summer. Full time employees are scheduled for 35-40 hours a week. Part time positions are negotiable.

Working at Yesteryears can be very challenging and rewarding for the right person.
