ARC Student Tour


This is an exciting time for you as you consider where to begin your college journey. Choosing a college is a big decision and we are thrilled at the opportunity to show you what American River College (ARC) has to offer. If you're a current ARC student, a campus tour is a great way to explore the campus and our resources!

Campus tours are general tours that cover the Student Center, UNITE Center, our 6 Homebases, Athletic offices, STEM Center, Welcome and Support Center, and our Library. We will try to make accommodations for your specific requests, but we can't guarantee that specific requests can be met due to office, staff and faculty availability. 

Tour groups are limited to 20 people max, per tour slot, per request. At this time, we only provide tours to those in 7th Grade and above. For larger groups (20+), please email tour@arc.losrios.edu 

We do not provide food to prospective students on our tours, but our Cafeteria and Oasis Starbucks Coffee provide a variety of options (Halal, Vegan, etc).

Please fill out this form to request a tour date. All requests need to be made a minimum of 5 business days in advance to allow scheduling. Groups that are >30 minutes late will result in a cancelled tour. Thank you for your understanding!

*due to Sacramento's high summer temperatures, we will not schedule tours after 2:00 PM for the safety of our tour guides and guests. Thank you for your understanding!

Fridays are reserved for larger groups and are unavailable for small tours.

Please allow your group time to find parking and to find the Student Center. Tours start and end in the ARC Student Center, at the Center for Leadership and Development office. 

Due to Sacramento's Summer temperatures, tours will end by 2:00 PM.

Groups that arrive over 30 minutes late without prior notice will be cancelled.
