*Friday, June 14-Plan to arrive into Miami International Airport by 2:00pm-We suggest you plan your stay at a hotel in Homestead, Florida City, (located south of SW 88th St (Kendall Drive) and near Hwy US 1), near Temple Beth Am (located at 5950 N. Kendall Dr.) or near Temple Beth Sholom (located at 4144 Chase Avenue, Miami Beach). These two synagogues are centers for the event and will have buses to transport participants to the rally, as will Temple Israel (137 NE 19th St, Miami, FL 33132).-End Child Detention Shabbat Services will be held at several area synagogues. Services at Temple Beth Am, Temple Beth Sholom, and Temple Judea are open to all.

*Sunday, June 16-Buses will depart from Temple Beth Sholom at 12:00pm, Temple Beth Am at @ 1:00pm, and Temple Israel at 12pm.2 – 5 PM: March to End Child Detention (event page) (Facebook page) (at 920 Bougainville Blvd, Homestead, FL 33039)-The rally and vigil will begin at 2:00pm and will be held at Homestead detention center (470 Bouganville Dr., Homestead, FL). Please note parking is difficult and extremely limited. Plan to spend the entire afternoon at the site.-Departure times from Miami International Airport are at your leisure, though we recommend considering a Monday morning flight. Please note the airport is at least a 90-minute drive from Homestead.
