Our THEME this year is:
The Will to Learn: How to Cultivate Student Motivation without Losing Our Own
For our morning sessions we need PRESENTERS:
Presentations can be content specific (AP Language, AP Bio, AP Stats, AP Coordinator, etc.) or strategies-based that can apply to all content areas (ex: increasing academic discourse, or motivation in the classroom).
Your audience will range from experienced professionals in your content area to new teachers, all of whom will be interested in learning about strategies for teaching AP students. Each session lasts 55 minutes, with 20 minutes between to answer questions, connect with colleagues, and decide where to go next. You may create more than one proposal if you wish (for example, content-based or strategies-based). Samples from last year’s conference can be found here.
In appreciation for leading a session, your conference fee will be covered and you will receive $100 as an Amazon Gift card.
